Conservative Values
As a lifelong Nebraskan, I am proudly pro-life, pro-family, and pro-second amendment. I will always fight to uphold our conservative values and defend our Nebraska way of life. As your Secretary of State, I am committed to the principles of limited government and fiscal conservatism: exactly the kind of leadership Nebraskans expect and deserve.
Election Security
I have consistently supported common-sense policies that make it easy to vote and hard to cheat, because it’s simple: voters should always have faith and confidence in our elections.
As Secretary of State, I have worked hand-in-hand with the legislature to instill confidence in Nebraska’s elections and ensure only legal votes are counted:
-
Championed Nebraska's Voter ID Law
-
Reviewed registration and verification procedures to prevent noncitizen voting
-
Opposed so-called “automatic” voter registration
-
Leading the effort to eliminate ballot harvesting and excessive early voting

Public Safety

As one of three members of the powerful Nebraska Board of Pardons, I am committed to keeping Nebraska families safe. That’s why I have consistently stood with victims and held criminals accountable for their actions.
As one of the co-founders of Nebraskans for the Death Penalty, I led the fight to keep the death penalty in Nebraska and have worked alongside our elected leaders to ensure our state is a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
I am committed to public safety and personal responsibility. As a member of the Pardons Board, I will continue keep those commitments to the citizens of our state.
Unleashing Nebraska's Economy
Agriculture is the economic backbone of our state. Since 2020, Nebraska has exported more than $34 billion in agricultural products.
As Nebraska’s Trade Representative and Ambassador of Nebraska to the World, my responsibility is to grow our economy, promote Nebraska's farmers and ranchers, and open new markets for our producers to thrive in. As Secretary of State, I have achieved great success alongside Governor Jim Pillen to expand economic opportunities for Nebraskans all throughout the world.
